An enigmatic and charming individual, Rafi's past remains veiled in ambiguity for even the closest of allies within the Blade's crew. Still, for the past three years he's served as the chief navigator aboard the Tempest's Wrath after seeing them through a harrowing storm whilst fleeing authorities on Elona's western coast and he's proven himself a steadfast and capable member of the crew since.

REPUTATION
Rafi hasn't exactly tried to gain any fame or noteriety, a fact that has enabled him to inhabit spaces from the comfort of relative obscurity. While its possible fellow pirates might recognize him as a member of the Obsidian Blade crew, its just as likely they'll have no idea. Those from the city of Amnoon may remember him and even find his current line of work surprising should they learn of his new career. Civilians are not likely to have any idea who he is, possibly seeing him as another refugee due to the distinct Elonian accent coloring his words.Any past associations should be discussed and not assumed - open to it if it makes logical sense for the character.

❖Tempest's Wrath Crew - Living, working and exploring the world by one of three ships in the Obsidian Blade's fleet, the Tempest's Wrath, Rafi maintains decent relationships with his crewmates and superiors due to his seeming lack of hierarchical ambition and charismatic demeanor.❖ A Pirate's Life - Time off duty is often spent in pubs and taverns catering to the less savory types, or hanging about docks asking questions of local sailors or even sometimes mingling with fellow pirates. During working hours however, more honest sailors might see their vessels in the scope of the Tempest...❖ Smuggling Business / Transport Need to get something past customs? Escaping arrest for a crime you may or may not have committed? Need transportation without the paper trail? Look no further than Tempest's Wrath, your home away from home - for a price.❖ A Tapestry of Details Rafi has been searching for a certain Elonian style necklace with a yellow sapphire pendant for a long time now, routinely checking with local merchants and brokers in various ports. Might word have gotten back that it changed your hands a while back?

Rafi is rather easy to like - he's personable, a good and willing listener, and he's got an easy wit. Sailors, other pirates, criminals, other commoners and so forth might find a quick friend in him during a visit to the local tavern or whilst perusing open-air markets. Its rare he lets anyone get truly close to him but that doesn't mean he's not friendly.
❖ Enemies
While Rafi has nothing against the authorities on a personal level, for his goals, they get in his way more often than not - so he'd count them among his enemies. Any who proves an obstacle to his personal quest might be counted as such from law enforcement, other criminals, rival crews to those who remain suspicious of him on his own crew.
❖ Romantic Connections
At this current time, Rafi's focus tends to be elsewhere but that doesn't mean he doesn't experience passing moments of interest whether it's to pass the time or just seek a fleeting moment of affection with someone he finds attractive - it's just rare that he lets himself entertain the idea of anything permanent. Still, life has a way of surprising us.

His connections with other people aren't always deeper than transactions or they fit well outside the perviews of romance, friendship or warfare. For instance he does keep a small contigent of informants paid for any intel on his sister's whereabouts. In addition, Rafi comes from a large family back in Elona, he could run into a family member out here.

❖ Fellow Pirates
Rafi's crew, The Obsidian Blades is made up of a fleet of three pirate ships including the Tempest's Wrath where Rafi is stationed. These are NPCs currently but I'd love to see some play with them - either that or I'd be open to moving him to an active crew!
❖ Missing Sister
Keeping the details vague here but I'd love to see his sister played. They've been separated for three years, she's changed her name and went into hiding though Rafi believes she's been kidnapped by a certain pirate captain. DM for details if interested in collaborating!
